India cement producers to increase their prices by US$ 0.58-0.64/bag (50kg) in April 2022 to an average of around US$ 5.60/bag. this represented a 12% month-on-month rise from just over US$ 5.00/bag on average in march 2022. cost inflation has hit the entire sector hard, especially smaller manufacturers, so the chances of meaningful rollback in prices are low, said Mangesh Bhadang analyst at Nirmal Bang institution equities. Bhadang added that he expected an additional US$ 0.13-0.25/bag rise in average prices during May 2022
